Warrens (Gingernut Ranger)

The warren is a cross between a Rhode Island Red (RIR) and Light Sussex they are a brown and white/cream hen that is the ultimate egg producer! They are known by many different names, depending on the hatchery or Poultry supplier, Warrens are suitable for any system and are brilliant for first time keepers. Warrens are very docile, hardy, child friendly and will follow you around the garden. They lay approx 300-320 brown eggs per year and are a firm favourite with Smallholders and first time Poultry Keepers alike. For Trade orders of 25 please see the contact us page.
