Blue Ranger

The Blue Ranger (or sometimes called the Bluebelle) is a firm favourite with people buying chickens. The Blue Ranger is a hybrid chicken made up of a Copper Blue Maran and a Rhode Island Red. The Blue Ranger lays approximately 250 Brown eggs a year that are described as having a plum blush to the shell. Blue rangers or Bluebelle's are very placid chickens to handle and come in a range of beautiful shades of pale grey to violet.
